To help us continue our commitment to making a real difference, we are currently looking for a Staffing Coordinator/Nursing Scheduler to join our team.

Job Summary:

Shepherd of the Valley Rehabilitation and Wellness is looking for a Staffing Coordinator/Nursing Scheduler to create, maintain and manage schedules for floor nursing staff in an organized and timely manner.

Essential Functions:

One nursing staff for 24-hour coverage and reviews daily with DNS, and/or Supervisors.
Provides units with daily schedule sheets and maintains record.
Adjusts schedule per occupancy report daily.
Coordinates attendance with payroll.
Assists the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse, DNS, SDC in developing work assignments, and schedules
Ensures that all OSHA and safety standards are followed, as applicable to the position and in the business location or workplace in accordance with state and federal regulation and Policies and Procedures.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Required: High School Graduate or equivalent
Required: Experience with scheduling of multiple units/persons
Good communication skills, team player and flexibility
Ability to perform duties assigned in an effective and timely manner.
