Responsibilities
  • Creates and maintains organizational structure to ensure completion of each Rehab Agency quarterly and annual requirements.
  • Coordinates with other departments to complete all necessary documents for CMS, AAAASF, and State Agencies.
  • Supports clinical staff in quality assurance programs in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations.
  • Works to provide staff with the necessary resources and guidance to make each Rehab Agency process as smooth and efficient as possible.
  • Schedules and coordinates equipment calibrations required for annual compliance.
  • Coordinates with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies.
  • Demonstrates competence in regulatory compliance and provides regular education to clinical staff so that that each community maintains compliance with all regulatory agencies.
  • Assists in the continued education on new and updated policies and procedures in Patient Care Manual, Regulatory Manual, Emergency Preparedness manual, as well as corresponding policies and procedures that are in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations.
  • Participates in Governing Body, Professional, Quality Assurance/Statistical Evaluation and Infection Control committees for the Rehab Agency.
  • Aligns his/herself with owners’ vision for service quality and value creation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Three (3) years of experience in an administrative role with proven organizational skills
  • Great analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and high level of attention to detail.
  • Must have the ability to remain calm in stressful situations, be flexible, work well with many interruptions, and to effectively balance multiple projects at one time
  • Must possess strong knowledge of laws and restrictions regarding Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy practice, including applicable state practice acts
  • Must possess a solid understanding of Medicare regulations in both Assisted Living and Memory Care communities
  • Must exhibit and promote a high level of professionalism, customer service, curiosity, and friendliness in all interactions with employees, residents, and visitors throughout the organization
  • Ability to travel overnight as needed with occasional excessive travel
