Empower Solar is a full service, residential solar installer looking experienced and driven individuals to join our ever-expanding team. We are currently looking for a full-time Solar Site Surveyor to assist documenting site information in order to design a photovoltaic system to meet the needs of our customer.
Position Overview:
The Site surveyor position is a very critical part our organizations internal team. Our site surveyors are the first person with boots on the ground at the jobsite representing our company. You will work closely with our Design and Engineering team along with fellow site surveyors. This position is responsible for gathering all information needed from a homeowner’s residence to ensure the design team can properly prepare permits needed to facilitate installation of photovoltaic systems. With the utilization of a drones & iPad, this position requires you to get aerial imagery of the home/property and take photos of the electrical panel, meter, obstructions, and general property info but not limited to taking physical measurements and documentation.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, climb, crawl, push, pull, reach, sit, stand, climb ladders, and work with various tools and equipment. Must be able to operate a pallet jack and forklift. Have to ability to listen, understand, and communicate in writing and verbally. The employee will frequently be required to lift objects up to 75 pounds.
