The Senior Consultant acts as internal consultant and practitioner in the identification, development, and implementation of talent, organization and leadership development programs and solutions. Supports and executes the integrated talent management strategy of integrated process and programs that deliver value to the business in the areas of talent development, organization development, targeted career paths, differentiated learning, and leadership, manager, associate and HiPo (high potential) development to build internal talent pipelines. Creates and executes project plans, defining and coordinating deliverables across teams, working closely with the Talent team, HR partners, subject matter experts, business leaders, Instructional Designers and training delivery colleagues. Demonstrates strong influencing and advisory skills, especially with senior management. acts as an internal consultant and practitioner to the business, creating talent development solutions that support the vision, objectives and culture of the organization and of specific departments.

What you will do

  • Consult, coordinate, design, develop, facilitate, and maintain talent development programs to achieve learning objectives. Apply adult learning theory and instructional design
  • Manage talent development related projects that may last over a year in length, that require driving and coordinating discussions across multiple groups of individuals to come to a plan, managing the plan to detail ensuring that all individuals deliver on time, flagging issues before they become issues, and being able to understand and communicate implications and connections.
  • Develop, plan for and execute the implementation of, and facilitates talent development, organization development, leadership, manager, associate and HiPo development programs.
  • Partner across the Talent Management and HR team for the identification of key talent development needs and critical talent pipeline development and supports the development of career pathing solutions.
  • Demonstrate strong facilitation skills. Lead group conversations on content. Highlight participants' existing knowledge, prepare pertinent, meaningful training material, and subsequently steer discussions. Manage the environment of the session (as well as pre- and post-session activities)
  • Effectively leverage and curate learning and development content from multiple resources to enhance or augment new or existing talent, organization and leadership development programs (e.g., LinkedIn Learning, getAbstract)
  • Continuously evaluate and measure the impact of talent development programs. Track program metrics and convey attendees' engagement to applicable business leaders and stakeholders.
  • Maintain a current working knowledge of talent and leadership development, training and OD practices for use within the Company.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 7 years' experience in training, consulting and implementing talent development and OD initiatives (including needs identification, soft skills program delivery and coaching)
  • Experience forming and driving High Potential and other talent and leadership programs or experience managing large scale talent projects required
  • Experience in talent and leadership development, including current and future focused trends and research
  • Demonstrated success in interacting and influencing across all management levels
  • Ability to think analytically, to process and connect seemingly unrelated information, to analyze, synthesize, and evaluate information and draw conclusions and recommendations
  • Organized, self-motivated, flexible, creative, and motivated by working in a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to motivate, engage, and inspire others. Exceptional questioning skills
  • Strong knowledge of Adult Learning Theoryand experience with instructional design
  • Outstanding facilitation skills; Demonstrate expertise in theonline facilitation toolsneeded to run virtual workshops(MS Teams)
  • Ability to synthesize/summarize key points in a discussion
  • A willingness toadapt, be flexible, and improviseas the situation requires it. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Self-aware active learner who strives to be a part of an open development-oriented team

Base Salary Range

$88,200.00 - $124,500.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
