The Senior Treasury Analyst, Treasury Forecasting & Analysis, reports to the Senior Director, Treasury Forecasting & Analysis, and owns and manages corporate debt transactions and facilities, both internal and external, for the second-largest retirement plan provider in the US. They provide full support and oversight of the administration, compliance, and accounting related to short- and long-term corporate debt and will prepare internal dividend recommendations.

What you will do:

  • Understand and carefully track all debt facilities in accordance with Treasury policies including developing and maintaining summary debt facility schedules/diagrams.
  • Implement Treasury Management System (TMS) debt module with assistance from outside consultants and other Treasury team members.
  • Assist in bank negotiations for credit facilities and model potential scenarios to determine best outcomes.
  • Input and manage all debt facilities within TMS, including standby/commitment fees, interest expense, syndication fees, etc.
  • Manage the debt compliance process. Understand and calculate debt covenants. Ensure that the company is in compliance with all debt covenants and update debt covenant baskets. Coordinate borrowings, debt rollovers, and debt repayments, including related tracking spreadsheets.
  • Develop and own a debt compliance calendar to ensure timely submission of compliance documents, financial statements, payments, and all other reporting requirements.
  • Understand and document cross-facility compliance limits.
  • Provide clear and concise reporting and analysis on loan portfolios to the Corporate Treasurer, CFO and Legal team.
  • Assist with all financial statement footnotes and reporting requirements related to debt facilities.
  • Calculate recommendations for quarterly internal dividends and lead internal discussion to obtain approvals for dividends.
  • Coordinate with parent company Treasury team on reporting, cash payments, and other debt-related matters between entities.
  • Create the annual budget for interest income, interest expense, and fees related to debt facilities and letters of credit.
  • Manage the firm's letter of credit portfolio in coordination with business units.
  • Participate in special projects as required.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other financial discipline
  • 7 years of work experience
  • Previous Treasury debt management experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface and collaborate across all organizational levels and disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices including financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations

  • Experience with TMS and TMS implementation preferred.
  • CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) preferred.
  • Experience with accounting systems such as SAP preferred.
  • Strong reading comprehension skills and willingness to read and analyze complex debt agreements.
  • Keen attention to detail to ensure accurate debt management and compliance.
  • Strong Excel modeling and analysis skills
  • Ability to independently drive projects to completion while also functioning effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility around responsibilities as job will evolve over time; willingness to do what it takes with a positive can-do attitude.
  • An analytical and creative problem solver that can act quickly and identify operational solutions to daily challenges / opportunities to streamline processes to meet deadlines and other requirements.
  • Comfortable with project work in addition to daily duties
  • Coordinate with parent company Treasury team on reporting, cash payments, and other debt-related matters between entities. Works independently and uses judgement to monitor and track debt compliance. Signature authority consistent with other Senior Analysts
  • Responsible for debt reporting and compliance with covenants.
  • Partnership with Legal, Corporate Treasury, Business Units, Banking Partners

Base Salary Range

$76,300.00 - $107,800.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
