We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, you will be responsible for providing behavior therapy and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. Your expertise and knowledge will play a crucial role in improving the lives of our patients.

Job Summary:

The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst is responsible for assessing client’s behavior and working closely with the family to develop a treatment plan. You will work in-home and in the community with families and Registered Behavior Technicians to implement the treatment plan, train the team and caregivers and make adjustments to the plan as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments, reassessments, and write progress reports.
  • Develop & monitor individualized treatment plans and behavior support plans.
  • Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and strategies.
  • Supervise and train Registered Behavior Technicians.
  • Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and other individuals in the client’s care plan.
  • Assess and chart observations thoroughly.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments.
  • Work collaboratively with all staff, vendors and clients.
  • Provide training and support to caregivers, educators, and other professionals involved in the patient's care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
  • Consult and coordinate with other team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate intervention plans.
  • Modify client intervention plans as necessary.
  • Assess the needs of individuals, families, or communities, including the assessment of the client’s home or work environments, to identify potential concerns.
  • Engage in research activities related to your position.
  • Stay current on the latest research and best practices in the field of behavior analysis
  • Review program effectiveness, make recommendations, monitor data collection, and graph/monitor progress.
  • Design positive behavior support and skill acquisition plans with individualized behavioral goals.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid and active certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Master's degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, special education, or related field required
  • Minimum of 2 years BCBA experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and patient care processes
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Proficient in conducting functional assessments and developing treatment plans
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to behavior analysis
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Current automobile registration and insurance
  • Strong interpersonal skills that build personal rapport and establish trust with the client
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Patience and compassion when working with children with diverse needs.
  • Ability to follow directions and implement behavior intervention plans accurately.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of clients and their families.

Training and Development:

Two years prior experience as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst is preferred but not required. We offer comprehensive training for all new hires to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed for this rewarding work.
