Responsibilities

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Graphic Design: Create visually delightful and compelling graphics for Federal Government proposals and client presentations that effectively communicate our ideas, concepts, and solutions.
• Tools: Proficiency in using Adobe Illustrator to design graphics, Adobe PDF to create high-quality documents, and other Adobe Creative Suite applications for image manipulation and enhancement. Create and format graphics and visual elements within MS PowerPoint and MS Word documents to ensure consistency and professionalism in client presentations and proposal documents.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure the accuracy of all graphics, layouts, and formatting in documents. Proofread and edit graphics and text to maintain a high standard of quality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our proposal teams, program operations, leadership and other stakeholders to understand design requirements and develop graphics that align with Empower AI messaging and branding.
• Meeting Deadlines: Ability to work efficiently and meet tight proposal deadlines while maintaining the quality and consistency of graphics.

File Management: Organize and maintain a library of design assets and templates for easy access and reuse.

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work collaboratively and influence teams to plan for and integrate design elements in proposals and presentations.
• Proven portfolio of sample graphics – both presentation and proposal related
• Ability to facilitate solution design sessions with technical and management teams
• Expertise in developing and building graphics from concept to final
• Strong leadership and coalition building skills in a highly dynamic and fluid working environment.
• Demonstrated ability to get things done, build consensus, resolve conflict, and solve tough business problems, working in concert with others.
• Keen sense of ownership, drive, and execution.

Education and Experience

• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience with at least 2 years of experience designing and delivering graphics for proposal documents.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college – or associated training and experience with design and delivery of materials
• Be within a reasonable commuting distance from Reston, VA.

Travel minimally, via car or plane, which requires ability to manage luggage, laptop, and briefing materials (up to 25 pounds).
