Job Description:
We are on the search for an energetic and detail-oriented E-commerce Operations Associate to join the dynamic team at our rapidly growing online retail company. In this entry-level position, you'll be playing a key role in the backbone of our ecommerce platform, ensuring that all components from inventory management to order processing are running smoothly. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the e-commerce platform, including timely order processing and fulfillment.
- Regularly update product listings with accurate descriptions, images, and prices, while also adding new products as they become available.
- Keep meticulous records of inventory and work closely with the purchasing team to restock items as needed and prevent overselling.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure products are delivered to customers on time and troubleshoot any issues that may arise in the delivery process.
- Assist in creating and maintaining a systematic and organized warehousing environment to enable efficient handling and storage of all inventory.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, product availability, and delivery in a professional and timely manner.
- Work with the marketing team to incorporate promotions and sales into the ecommerce site, ensuring all information is current and correct.
- Analyze e-commerce metrics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvements, reporting findings to management regularly.
- Participate in seasonal and periodic inventory audits to ensure system data integrity.
Qualifications :
- A degree or relevant coursework in business, supply chain management, ecommerce, or related field is a plus.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, web analytics, and basic understanding of SEO principles is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with inventory management practices and order fulfillment processes.
- High level of computer literacy
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with a focus on providing a positive shopping experience.
