Overview :

We are a busy boat yard looking for a full-time fiberglass technician who is capable of fiberglass and gelcoat repair on boats and jet skis.

Responsibilities :

• Clean and detail boats according to company standards and customer specifications
• Inspect Boats for any damage or defects
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment
• Assemble components according to specifications
• Operate machining tools to fabricate parts as needed
• Knowledge of Gel coat and Fiberglass repair, auto painting, mechanical processes
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Basic math skills for measuring cleaning solutions and calculating costs
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times

Skills :

• Proficient in carpentry techniques and able to use hand tools effectively
• Strong materials handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects
• Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions
• Experience in assembling components according to specifications
• Familiarity with machining tools and their operation
• Knowledge of warehouse management practices
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
