Shop Apprentice Job Summary : We are seeking a Shop Apprentice to join and support our established machine / fabrication shop in Greeley Colorado.

We need someone that is reliable, mechanical and looking to continue and grow their career in a fast-paced role as a Shop Apprentice performing, machining, welding, and fabrication.

• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Prepare materials by cleaning with extreme precision for machinists and welders in the shop
• Perform basic machining tasks as needed training provided as needed
• Assist with fabrication
• Use various measuring instruments
• Complete tasks with urgency, safety and accuracy in mind at all times
• Every day will be filled with lots of variety with room to learn and grow on the job!

Candidate Background :

• Previous experience as a Shop Helper or in a similar role is preferred.
• Trade school experience and or military experience including machining, welding and / or mechanical work
• Knowledge or interest in a career related to machining, welding and fabrication work
• Mechanically inclined, possibly working on vehicles as a hobby etc.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings is a plus, but can be trained
• Proficient in using power tools and hand tools
• Ability to measure accurately.
• Strong math skills
• High attention to detail
