Industrial Maintenance Technician (WEEKENDS)

The Role : As an industrial maintenance technician, you will be responsible for the safe repair of custom automated food production, fermentation and packaging machinery and equipment. Tons of room for GROWTH!

Job Type : Full-time, Direct Hire

Salary : $31.50 40.00 / hr PLUS $4 shift differential for the day shift weekend role and $6 shift differential for the night shift weekend role.

Schedule : 12 hour shift Friday-Sunday and every other Thursday. There is 1 WEEKEND night shift and 1 WEEKEND day shift

Day to Day :

• Troubleshoot and repair electric and mechanical equipment issues
• Communicate effectively and professionally with the production team, maintenance team and other internal employees from various departments
• Identify, track, & perform work orders all completed on computer
• Identify needed parts, supplies and tools needed to complete various tasks

Background Profile :

• 2 years as an industrial maintenance mechanic or technician
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Allen Bradley, Hart controls and Studio 5000 experience
• PLC troubleshooting experience
• Lock out / Tag out experience
• Works in compliance with all safety, GMP and all other regulations
• Low and high voltage troubleshooting knowledge : , single phase source power, and 3 phase source power
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, schematics, and PLC screen diagrams / display
• General facility repair knowledge floors, painting, shelving set-up etc
• Experience in the packaged food or beverage industry PLUS
• Knowledge and ability to work in a GMP automated warehouse environment
• Must not be afraid of heights- lifts and stairs are used to reach the tops of machinery
