What you’ll do:

EB Field Distribution internship duties may include:

• This is fluid at the moment but generally this will involve packaging data, presenting data, utilizing Excel and/or Word to organize information for use internally. May include interactions with other departments including Underwriting, Marketing, or Training. There are multiple initiatives related to the 2024 sales plan that are heavily driven by creating or updating databases or training documentation to support the databases. Strong analytics and writing skills preferred. 

Additional Details:

• 11-week paid summer internship (May – August)
• 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
• All work is expected to be hybrid, mandatory 2 days in office.
• Housing or stipends are available for eligible candidates.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited institution towards a 4-year undergraduate degree
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Completed at least 2 years towards a bachelor's degree.
• Preferred areas of study include Actuarial Science, Accounting, Finance, Business, or another related subject.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Knowledge and use of Excel and Microsoft Word required.
• Knowledge of Tableau would be a bonus.
• Ability to utilize templated documents in Word to create procedures and/or job aids with provided information. Potential for database creation or organization.
• Problem solving and organizational skills would be beneficial as would communication courses in writing.

This selected candidate will be expected to work in a Hybrid environment. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
