Job Description: Summary of Position: Will perform the daily set-up and preparation of components and/or weldments utilizing TIG and MIG in a variety of materials including stainless and aluminum. Track and electronically record duties. Utilize blueprints for set-up and inspection of parts to ensure customer specifications are met. Duties and Responsibilities: Proven ability to TIG and MIG weld Proven ability to read and utilize blueprints to complete tasks Ability to use standard measuring devices Inspect finished product Ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision. Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve to meet delivery dates within project hours Utilize knowledge and skills in the following areas: Electrical assembly Hydraulic assembly Pneumatic General assembly procedures General equipment maintenance Operate forklift, hoist and cranes Adhere to company policies and safety requirements Other duties as assigned Skills and Abilities: Requires the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization Strong collaborative and accommodation tendencies Ability to multi-task, managing a wide variety of priorities simultaneously with limited supervision Computer literate, with experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs and ERP (familiarity with Epicor a definite plus) Effective written & verbal communication skills are required Qualifications: High School diploma, or equivalent, and successful completion of an internal welding test. Three to five years’ experience in various forms of welding preferred.
