Direct Hire Opportunity with our client in Fenton. Monday-Friday 4:30PM-1AM
They are seeking a skilled Brake Operator to join their team. As a Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets according to specifications. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. 2-3 years of Brake experience required.

Duties:
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Select appropriate tooling and dies for each job
- Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate and precise bending
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections
- Perform routine maintenance on machines as needed
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes

Skills:
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication processes
- Experience operating machinery such as lathes, milling machines, cranes, laser cutting equipment, etc.
- Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers for precise measurements
- Knowledge of plasma cutting and machining techniques is a plus
- Ability to program and set up press brake machines is highly desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
