BASIC FUNCTION:
Provide administrative and project management support to the Managing Director and investment staff of New York State’s SSBCI Venture Capital Investment Programs SSBCI.
WORK PERFORMED:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education Level required: BA in related discipline preferred; or a 2-year degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience; Or, any equivalent combination of direct relevant experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved. Public sector experience a plus.
Relevant experience required: 1-3 years of administrative, customer service and project management experience within a corporate office environment.
Knowledge required: Ability to work as part of a team with high level of customer service and coordinate multiple projects at the same time; Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Excellent written and oral communication skills combined with a confident business demeanor. Will have frequent access to highly confidential information and files which must be kept confidential.
