JOB DETAILSShift1st/Day ShiftLocationIn-FieldScheduleSchedule to be provided by leader. Salary Range$33.30 - $47.16 Per Hour JOB SUMMARY:Load, unload, move, maintain, receive, and ship machines and equipment. Maintain yard, storage, and adjacent areas. Maintain equipment as needed. Perform minor equipment repair as needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Operates forklifts and cranes to load, unload and move materials, components and equipment from trucks, rail cars and storage areas. Assists customers, vendors and truck drivers delivering or picking up equipment.Greets people courteously and without delay, determine their needs and provide help within 5 minutes of their arrival.Inspects each machine and notes any damage before the machine is moved. Takes pictures of questionable machine damage and reports immediately.Ensures all loads are properly prepared, loaded and secured to avoid shifting, loosening, or falling while enroute.Performs preventive maintenance and minor repair work on equipment as directed by supervisor.Gives full, courteous cooperation and prompt service to customers.Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and failures. Reports findings to supervisor.Maintains company equipment – keeps in good clean orderly condition. Reports repair or replacements needs to supervisor.Work safely at all times. Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains company equipment by checking fuel, oil, water, tires etc on truck and equipment before starting. All equipment is kept clean and ready for sale.Maintains and dispenses bulk and miscellaneous supply inventories.Assists dispatcher and material handlers if needed.Gathers information from a walk around inspection and reports to customer/management.Communicates orally and in writing information regarding equipment condition, problems, and recommendations.Provides on-the-job training as assigned. Works overtime as needed.Communicates with proper individuals to clarify instructions or discuss scope or progress of job.Works within and promote corporate values. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Demonstrated technical skill competence.Appropriate manner, conduct, and grooming adhere to company policy.Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively.Consistent attendance. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).Current driver’s license.Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English. PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
