We are looking for a Professional Service Technician who enjoys providing exceptional customer service to clients. After sufficient training, the ideal candidate will be able to formulate creative solutions to mechanical and chemical problems in institutional kitchens, industrial laundry, and other market segments. You'll receive training, a service truck, smart phone, laptop computer, and the support needed to allow you to thrive in your territory.

The new Field Support Tech must have excellent customer service skills, as well as an eye for detail when installing, maintaining, and repairing dispensing equipment. Field Support Techs are required to have a valid Class C Driver License and proof of valid automobile insurance demonstrating minimum coverage as defined by prevailing law. You must be willing and able to drive to and from customer/client sites daily.

Regular and reliable attendance is an essential funtion of this position.

Responsibilities include:

• Troubleshoots equipment in need of repair, ability to diagnose and repair malfunction.
• Prepares Demo, loaners, and new equipment for delivery
• Checks new equipment when received for missing or damaged parts/ install of new equipment.
• Responds to “reactive service requests” and travels to the customer facility to provide the necessary emergency service.
• Completes Title warranty forms accurately
• Maintains all Parts and Equipment Logs as needed.
• Ability to explain equipment repairs, timelines, and expenses to customers.
• Maintains up to date information on current manufactures technical bulletins and recalls.
• Enters orders and prioritizes workday.

Field Support Techs are self-starters who are dependable, honest, and work hard with minimum supervision. The tech will maintain a parts inventory and make necessary adjustments to the assigned service route to maximize their workdays. Our techs must have computer experience and the abiltiy to send and receive emails, enter information into an Excel Worksheet, track and send data as needed. You must be familiar with and have the ability to find information, such as service manuals on the internet, and do basic tasks on Microsoft Outlook.
