Blue Shirts play a vital role in delivering the Empire experience to students across our three competitions: Empire Chicago: The Windy City Challenge (September), Empire Chicago: The World Championship (November), and our online competition, Empire Interstellar (October). Donning our signature Empirion blue, these awesome young people are the “face” of Empire during competition weekends, providing our students with energy and direction.

Application Timeline

1. Applicant submits application, which includes listing competition preference(s), listing one reference contact information, and essay questions demonstrating interest in volunteering. You may upload a resume and/or a cover letter, but neither is required;
2. Receive decision on application
3. Submit final competition availability
4. Complete at least one (1) hour of training for your Empire competition
