We are seeking Part-Time, energetic, and hands on Grocery Retail Merchandiser. Retail Merchandisers ensure best in class in store merchandising to include building displays, packing out product, and replenishing permanent secondary displays and maintain sale-ability of all authorized items.

Retail Merchandiser Job Description

• Call on all the stores in assigned territory within the established call frequency
• Sell and service all principal accounts represented by company
• Aggressively sell displays of manufacturer-client brands while working within the guidelines of customer regulations and manufacturer-client display objectives
• Obtain and maintain 100% distribution of all manufacturer-client products approved by the retail customer
• Conduct regular checks of store reorder line number tags to insure continued distribution and reordering
• Carry out all previously planned promotion and programs to a successful conclusion
• Supply point-of-sale material to store(s) as required by the manufacturer-client and approved by the retailer
• Apply manufacturer’s cents-off coupons and special offers to product as required by the manufacturer and approved by the customer
• Insure that all retail objectives and shelf standards are met and maintained in assigned territory
• Keep sections set to customer’s schematic or stocking plan as is required or beneficial to manufacturer-clients
• Together with the Retail Supervisor establish an efficient attached territory itinerary and then follow this approved coverage plan

Retail Merchandiser Basic Requirements

• Will require some weekend work
• Detailed oriented and able to multi task effectively
• Thorough communication skills and able to speak to store management.
• Self-motivated, Work independently and able to meet deadlines
• Merchandising and or retail experience preferred
• MUST have a dependable car, meet our required auto insurance coverage and a good driving record
• Willing to drive
