JOB DETAILS:

Schedule Standard work schedule to be provided by leader.
Salary Range $41,993.00 - $56,060.00 Per Year
JOB SUMMARY:
Review and maintain all systems affecting the physical status of parts exchange inventories. Purchase parts and components on behalf of Empire Southwest. Negotiate prompt delivery of parts and components. Prepare and maintain all cost accounting and rebuild analyses. Administer and maintain a core tracking system, and all core accounts. Coordinate the return of cores from customers, other departments, and branch stores. Identify, inspect, and process cores through the Certified Rebuild Center (CRC) shops within 24hrs of receipt. Monitor all backorders daily and communicate to parts sales, customers, branch stores, and CRC shops. Provide technical assistance to all parts sales, other departments, and branch store personal. Maintain 98% inventory accuracy. Assist in the management of system inventory parameters to exceed Dealer Excellence expectations. Assist with month end closing processes and parts accounting. Oversee parts returns.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Purchase parts and components for Company inventory and individual orders.
  • Operate forklifts and stocker pickers.
  • Replenish shelf stock and stock Unit Exchange parts. Stage Warranty Parts.
  • Maintain database and required lists.
  • Assist in making recommendations on parts stock.
  • Initiate rebuild work orders. Prepare and maintain all costs, accounting and rebuild analyses.
  • Review quotes for accuracy of parts, labor, and sublet charges. Condition report is accurate and complete.
  • Issue Core credits within 24 hours of quote.
  • Work order closings are reviewed, adjustments made, and appropriate personal are notified in a timely manner to ensure parts and service objectives are met.
  • Review backorders daily and communicate with rebuild shop, and all parties involved to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Conduct and review Standard Rebuild Variance (SRV) values to ensure Exchange pricing is inline with profit objectives.
  • Maintain communication with all CRC shops at all times to ensure Exchange inventory levels are obtained.
  • Provide technical assistance to all parts sales, branch stores and other departments as needed.
  • Provide Exchange inventory assistance to all branch facilities to ensure inventory accuracy is maintained.
  • Conduct periodic inventory audits to ensure 98% accuracy objectives are met.
  • Work safely at all times. Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Write credits. Write change and new locations.
  • Initiate freight discrepancy forms.
  • Maintain core tracking system. Coordinate the return of cores from customers, branch stores and other departments.
  • Conduct Inventory sourcing through the seed program or Used Parts, as applicable.
  • Review and analyze reports.
  • Respond to all inquiries about stock levels, recommended stock, and special program.
  • Communicate with Technical Resources when problems arise, such as failures and critical update to ensure exchange standards are met.
  • Monitor inventory calls and demands to ensure adequate levels are adjusted to meet those needs.
  • Make suggestions to help simplify and streamline processes and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor.
  • Work within and promotes corporate values.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Must have in depth knowledge of parts and service-related functions.
  • Must have in depth knowledge of product, inventory analysis, development, evaluation, and control.
  • Must have organizational skills to work independently, complete assignments on schedule and maintain record keeping systems.
  • Must have sufficient analytical skills to confidently provide recommendations based on report analysis.
  • Must have ability to conduct research using available resources.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively.
  • Must be able to meet all safety requirements for applicable safety policies and use of all required safety equipment.
  • Must have acceptable attendance to meet all company standards and requirements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Minimum 2 years’ related inventory and accounting functions experience.
  • Minimum 2 years’ parts sales related experience.
  • Parts Pro program preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
