Emory Healthcare is seeking Director Magnet Programs and Nursing Clinical Excellence to lead activities related to Emory University Hospital and Emory University Orthopaedics and Spine Hospital Magnet Program. The Director is a champion for professional nursing practice, research, evidence-based practice and outcomes management that improve patient care delivery. The Director will enjoy CNS and data analytics support, and robust relationship with Quality & Safety Team.
Located in downtown Atlanta with more than 6,000 faculty staff and trainees, Emory University Hospital (EUH) is the largest of Emory's Healthcare hospitals and one of the nation's leading hospitals in cardiology and heart surgery, cancer, neurology and solid organ transplant. EUH achieved Magnet recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in 2014 as a reflection of its nursing professionalism, teamwork, and superiority in patient care, a second Magnet designation in 2018 and third in July 2023. Emory University Orthopaedics and Spine Hospital received its second Magnet designation in 2021.
Description:The Director Magnet Programs and Nursing Clinical Excellence is responsible for entity specific activities related to the Magnet Program, professional nursing practice, research, evidence-based practice and outcomes management that improve patient care delivery. Accountable for collaboration with nursing and other inter-professional leaders and serves under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer with matrix reporting relationship to the VP of Professional Practice Specific accountabilities include
