Tidewell Hospice, a member of Empath Health in beautiful Southwest Florida, is seeking a CNA / Dietary Aide.

8a-6 : 30p; Week 1 : Sun / Wed / Thurs / Fri; Week 2 : Mon / Tues / Sat

The CNA / Dietary Aide :

• Is responsible for food purchasing and storage, meal preparation, meal delivery, and maintenance of a sanitary kitchen environment.
• Undertakes the vital job of meeting the dietary goals and preferences of terminal patients in the hospice house setting.
• In collaboration with the Clinical Director, Registered Dietitian, and Food Service Coordinator, the hospice CNA / Dietary Aide purchases, stores and prepares attractively presented meals in a sanitary manner, on a timely basis.
• Ensures the cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment and dietary department area and performs clinical / patient care duties as a CNA.
• Provides clinical services to meet care needs of patients in the Hospice House as directed by the Registered Nurse.

Requirements :

• Applicants must have Florida State Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• One year of recent experience within a healthcare environment, preferably in a hospice or acute-care setting is preferred
• Previous dietary experience preferred
