Emory Industrial Holdings is Hiring an Electrical Technician Near Midland, TX

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and troubleshoot electrical and electronic based equipment and systems located in semi-tractors, hydraulic fracturing equipment, cement equipment and in the maintenance shop.
  • Ensure Inventory is accurate and up to date; report inventory statistics and needs to Lead Technicians.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems on equipment and vehicles.
  • Perform periodic preventative maintenance on select electronics equipment.
  • Recommend improvements in electrical and electronic equipment to improve operating efficiencies / reduce costs.
  • Plan scheduled maintenance tasks and keep required records.
  • Develop skills and knowledge in operating company equipment to enable electronic testing and troubleshooting.
  • Operate computers and use technical software to calibrate electronic and computer equipment.
  • Test and repair equipment in conformance with written procedures
  • Identify component and assembly problems and propose solutions.
  • Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs in the district.
  • Comply with all government, industry and company regulations and standards to ensure a healthy and safe work environment, while also minimizing the Company’s environmental footprint.
  • Employee may be assigned other duties in addition to or in lieu of those described above and, any duties are subject to change at any time according to the needs of the location or company.

Qualifications

  • Two-Year Associate Degree or equivalent preferred
  • 1-3 years of pressure pumping oilfield service experience preferred.
  • Proficiency working with hydraulic fracturing and cement units.
  • Insurable by company insurance plan based on driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
