Emory Healthcare is Hiring a HR Data Analytics Director Near Atlanta, GA

Description

The Director of HR Data Analytics reports to the Vice President, Total Rewards and HR Tech/Data and manages a team of data personnel with a common goal of implementing and supporting Human Resources data and analytics. This role is responsible for executing on strategic, cross-functional, and/or multi-disciplinary programs using HR data and analytics to drive exceptional business value for Emory; managing strategic priorities and assisting with strategic planning within and across HR to drive and ensure alignment with HR analytics. They will proactively design analytics approaches that align with the business objectives and strategy of Emory Healthcare. This position must also provide effective resource management to the teams including coaching to ensure effective day-to-day operations and reliability.

  • Drives the initiative to create the services, analysis and tools for HR, leaders, managers, and employees to leverage all HR data.
  • This individual will embrace a can-do approach while partnering with the Vice President operating within a fast-paced environment.
  • Essential Responsibilities Partners with the System Vice President to execute on programs with strategic business goals across departments, functions, or regions.
  • Develops, analyzes, and executes HR analytics program plans which include scope identification and management, schedule, inter-dependencies, and resource forecast.
  • Assists with resource allocation, establishing schedules, and making task assignments.
  • Develops and designs HR analytics reports and presentations working with business leaders to develop and tell the People Story.
  • Conducts research and analyzes / interprets data, processes, and systems related to assigned projects.
  • Ensures all procedures and policies are followed; leverages an understanding of data and resources to support projects or initiatives.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to solve business problems; escalates issues or risks as appropriate; communicates progress and information.
  • Supports, identifies, and monitors priorities, deadlines, and expectations.
  • Identifies, speaks up, and implements ways to address improvement opportunities for team.
  • Consults with HR business partners and senior leadership on all matters related to HR data and analytics.
  • Partners with HR shared services leaders to provide analytics expertise and problem solving to ensure internal collaboration provides optimal business support.
  • Monitors and identifies program risks, issues, and trigger events by escalating risks or issues as appropriate.
  • Monitors adherence of program activities to policies and procedures by ensuring plans and team members follow Emory policies.
  • Helps to provide insight to key stakeholders and program sponsors by developing goals, setting the prioritization of deliverables, discussing involvement of business processes (e.g. program change management, communication) and facilitating decisions necessary for program delivery.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field required.
  • Seven years of experience in Human Resources, data, or finance with at least 3 years of people management experience.
  • Experience in healthcare strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to function as a facilitator, teacher, coach, strategic partner, and consultant is required.
  • Financial acumen and knowledge of HR systems and process management is required.
  • Must have excellent organization, communication, and planning skills and strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
