Description

We're seeking a dedicated Coordinator / Education to continue the growth of our Respiratory Care team at Emory University Hospital Midtown. As the Educational Coordinator you will provide clinical instruction for students enrolled in the Respiratory Care Program. You will assist with development, design, and implementation of the clinical orientation program for new employees and organizes and instructs in-services for staff. You may perform the duties of Respiratory and relief supervisor when called upon. Additionally, you will assist in the development and administration of departmental policies and procedures in accordance with state, federal and organizational guidlines. 

The Coordinator of Education will work with director / manager to formulate plans for professional development. You will provide all respiratory care services for adult and geriatric patients on a routine basis, and provide emergency airway care for pediatric and neonatal patients as needed in all areas of the hospital except for the Operating Room. You will serve as a clinical resource for students and staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Registered as a Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Two years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy.
  • Licensed as a Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) by the state of Georgia.BLS certification required.
