Responsibilities:
- Oversee and supervise nursing staff in a medical office or assisted living facility
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, ensuring quality patient care
- Conduct triage and assess patient needs
- Administer medications, including inhalation and spinal tap procedures
- Perform phlebotomy and other medical procedures as needed
- Ensure compliance with medical protocols and standards, including ICD-10 coding
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of medical procedures and protocols
- Proficiency in spinal tap procedures, phlebotomy, and other clinical skills
- Experience in triage and assessing patient needs
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding system for accurate documentation
- Ability to provide care for patients of all ages, including toddlers and the elderly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize patient care
