Family Shelter Case Manager (Bi-Lingual Haitian Creole/English)

Emmaus Inc., a non-profit in Haverhill MA, is seeking a part time, 20 hours a week Bi-lingual Haitian Creole Case Manager to become part of our hard-working, solutions-driven team. Make a difference in the lives of homeless parents and children by helping them to rebuild their lives and reach their fullest potential.

We are looking for an energetic, supportive and committed Bi-lingual Haitian Creole Case Manager to welcome and support Haitian families residing in Emmaus’ Family Shelter. Duties include conducting intakes and orientations with new families, linking Haitian-speaking families to local education, health care and social service supports and providing crisis intervention as needed.

Emmaus is willing to provide training and support to help the right person to grow into the job.

Requirements of the Case Manager:

• MUST be able to work Monday through Thursday, 11am-4pm
• Bi-Lingual Haitian/English required
• Associates Degree in a human service related field is preferred but experience may be substituted for education.
• Strong written and oral English communication skills.
• Must have a driver’s license
• Must be able to pass screening for safe driving record and CORI check.
• Must be fully vaccinated COVID-19 vaccination

Pay: $20.00 - $23.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
