Emmanuel Episcopal Church is Hiring a Communications Coordinator Near Southern Pines, NC

Description: The Coordinator will work closely with the Rector and Parish Administrator to design, maintain, and disseminate church-wide communications. This includes, but is not limited to web design, social media management, weekly emails, print publications, flyers, materials, and mailings. As a creative member of the staff, the Coordinator will work collaboratively with the various committees of the church to promote and organize both special and ongoing events.

Duties:

  • Stay in contact with the various groups, ministries, and committees of the church to ensure proper communication throughout church staff and membership
  • Work with members of the church and staff to organize events
  • Manage Parish website, Facebook, and Instagram accounts
  • Create flyers/notices for upcoming events and ongoing ministries
  • Send parish email
  • Photography for major events
  • Create and maintain digital bulletin boards
  • Create and manage sign-ups for events and activities
  • Create print material as needed for ministries, formation, and outreach
  • Oversee promotion for community events

  • Comfortable with Photography and Videography

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
