The role of the Leasing Agent is to assist Property Manager and/or the Assistant Property Manager in all aspects and
areas of the property with day-to-day functions including marketing, leasing, application processing, resident
relations, and adhering to the EMG Employee Manual. The objective is to balance the needs of the Property with
those of the residents and to achieve occupancy and rental goals.
The duties include but are not limited to the following:
while providing exceptional customer service.
Housing Guidelines.
residents, explaining advantages of location and services.
Delivering adverse action letters to denied or conditionally approved applicants.
receiving approval or denial from Regional and LIHTC Manager for all applications in process that may
qualify.
units, and verifying completion of repairs.
employee meetings, and all other webinars, etc.
maintenance/grounds staff if they are unable, based on current tasks and availability.

move out inspections must be completed between the 20th and last day of each month.
