How you contribute

The Marketing Platforms Manager owns the digital systems underpinning the online presence of Emesent and help drive lead-generation and nurturing at a global scale through the selective application of technology. The role reports to the Global Head of Marketing and ensures our marketing technology is fit-for-purpose, delivering high return on investment by maximizing the effectiveness of our CMS and CRM systems.

Here’s what we need

  • For our websites:
  • Manage an annual roadmap of website activity, including content updates, site optimization, and designing visitor journeys that leverage our marketing automation system.
  • Analyse website performance, including traffic volume, technical SEO, accessibility, etc. and maintain an ongoing program (calendar) of site improvement.
  • Contribute to the design and planning of website functionality to drive growth in online awareness and lead-generation.
  • Coordinate between internal and external teams to ensure smooth platform operations and the launch of new content, features, or workflows – minimising impacts on clients, visitors, and other stakeholders.
  • Design and run testing to ensure online content is targeted and performs well against internal and industry benchmarks. Guide the website’s ‘look and feel’ by researching and implementing UX/UI best practice.
  • Manage all technical aspects of the CMS. 
  • Provide guidelines and educate relevant teams on how to publish content.
  • Brief in agencies as required. Ensure projects are delivered as scoped and on time.
  • For our marketing automation:
  • Plan and execute new content automation workflows in Hubspot that drive growth in qualified marketing leads (MQLs). Report on outcomes and implement tactics to improve conversion.
  • Anaylze email responses and engagement levels to inform content and workflow changes that drive higher conversion rates.
  • Manage integrations with and deployments of third-party applications and ensure cross-platform optimization.
  • For Stakeholders:
  • Work with specialist brand and content contributors to implement designs in line with our brand and creative direction.
  • Report to the Head of Marketing on site performance, visitor engagement metrics, project progress, project costs, and site roadmap planning.
  • Provide input to digital marketing strategy.
  • Establish effective operational relationships with internal/external providers involved with our website and server hosting. Communicate with relevant hosting providers on new feature roll outs and website launches – to ensure minimal impact to the business.
  • Provide same-day response to internal support tickets for systems under management.

  • Excel at website CMS management (Wordpress) and site optimization planning. 
  • Be the go-to expert for setting up marketing automation (Hubspot) workflows for nurture emails and forms.
  • Deliver clear and meaningful website and marketing automation reporting.
  • Love diving into analysis of search rankings and web performance and be excited by the chance to drive better results.
  • Confidently manage agency relationships and responsibly manage budgets.
  • Bring your experience of managing digital projects and implementation of SaaS systems such as e-Commerce, Live Chat, online events, or other digital channel capabilities, to this critical position.
