Qualifications

• Must be able to motivate and inspire players
• Knowledge of fundamental volleyball skills and rules
• Prepare for and conduct effective practices
• Prepare for team competitions
• Ensure that team members meet eligibility requirements
• The ability to communicate effectively with the parents of team members
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure
• Must be a positive "role model"
• Ability and desire to give the time and energy necessary to be successful
• Knowledge of and willingness to complete state, district, and school employment requirements
• Must be willing to earn appropriate UHSAA credentials
• The successful applicant must pass a background check before working with student/athletes
