AS A MATERIAL HANDLER, YOU WILL :

• Load and / or unload trucks
• Put away incoming freight
• Replenish orders as necessary to support operation
• Supply cardboard boxes and bags for departments
• Transport finished goods to be shipped
• Perform necessary housekeeping duties to maintain clean work environment
• Maintain safe actions on and off equipment in compliance with all safety rules / regulations required by Emerson, federal, state, and local provisions
• Meet department quality, attendance, and productivity requirements
• Assist and train new hires
• Other duties as assigned

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED :

• Must be self-motivated and able to follow instructions with limited supervision
• Must have successfully completed and passed Emerson’s training on all required equipment which included but is not limited to;

forklift, cherry picker, and tri-loader

• Must be comfortable working at heights of 20 feet wearing fall protection gear
• Must follow all Company Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and walk / stand / work on concrete for 8 hours
• Ability to use the Hand (RF) scanner effectively and efficiently

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART :

• JDE knowledge
• High school diploma or GED
