Job Summary

Reporting to the Cardiac Rehabilitation Manager, the social worker's role is to help the Cardiac Rehabilitation Team, the participants, spouses, and significant others to integrate the educational/exercise component of heart disease with a support process that includes attention to the emotional/family/vocational/stress management components.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience
  • Master of Social Work (MSW)
  • Experience in counseling patients required
• Licensure and/or Certification
  • LICSW preferred LCSW required
  • BLS Healthcare provider required
• Skills
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Computer skills required.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
