If you are an experienced Master Scheduler/Planner looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Manufacturer of large custom-designed control valves, you will work in a multifaceted and high-tech production facility based in our Marshalltown, Iowa location.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Manage backlog, master schedule, and planning parameters for parts
• Handle inventory management, set planning parameters for new parts, and process workflows
• Deliver quote requests to Customer Service and utilize Oracle system for assembly orders
• Initiate work orders, coordinate "Buy and Make" parts planning, and monitor supply and demand alignment
• Adjust Bills of Material and Assembly routings for special requirements
• Coordinate quality matters and engineering changes with suppliers
• Define material planning attributes with Value Stream Manager
• Implement lean manufacturing techniques, including Kanbans, Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Scheduling Boards and Best Practices
• Maintain delivery prospectus and perform other related duties as required

For This Role, You Will Need:

• 2-year College Degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience will be considered
• In depth understanding of Master Product Schedule (MPS), Material Requirement Planning (MRP), MRPII, and manufacturing business systems
• Solid computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) and MS Outlook
• Strong organizational, planning and decision making skills required with ability to work as a team member
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Self starter

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Oracle knowledge and experience a plus
• APICS CPIM certification preferred

Flexible Work Schedule - Remote Work Option:
