• Oversee high-visibility, strategic projects across the EHRM-IO, VHA and Oracle Health; aligning clinical and technical expertise.
• Support best outcomes for overall EHR strategy across technical and functional areas by identifying and escalating gaps that could interfere or impact program success.
• Advise, develop, and assist with the planning and implementation of best practice standards, policies, and EHR design and workflow processes.
• Develop and oversee processes to manage and integrate technical and solutions to reduce program risks.
• Oversee an integration architect team, leveraging program management methodology to drive delivery and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
Minimum qualifications:
• 4 years of professional work experience
• Assesses information and knowledge-based needs of healthcare professionals and patients; characterizes, evaluates, and refines clinical processes; develops, implements, and refines clinical decision support systems, and leads or participates in the procurement, customization, development, implementation, management, evaluation, and continuous improvement of clinical information systems, such as EHRs and order-entry systems.
• Can supervise and create new approaches and solutions.
• Master’s Degree or PhD in Healthcare or related scientific, technical, or clinical discipline is required, or an additional 12 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements
