Location: Providence, RIDuration: 52 weeksExperience: 2 yearsJob Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Anesthesiologist to join our Physician Services team in Providence, RI. As an Anesthesiologist, you will play a crucial role in studying, diagnosing, and treating various medical conditions, injuries, and illnesses. Your expertise in medical ethics, human anatomy, pharmacology, and other specialized areas will contribute to providing high-quality patient care.Responsibilities:
  • Administer anesthesia during surgical and medical procedures.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals to ensure patient safety.
  • Evaluate patients' medical histories and create individualized anesthesia plans.
  • Provide preoperative consultations and postoperative care.
Requirements:Education:
  • Degree: Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or equivalent from a school in the United States or Canada.
  • The degree must be accredited by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association; Association of American Medical Colleges: Liaison Committee on Medical Education; Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation of the American Osteopathic Association or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.
Certifications/Licensure:
  • Applicants must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Anesthesiologist.
  • Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques, patient assessment, and monitoring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team.
