PowerBI Analyst with strong experience in Python and PySpark

Client is migrating to AWS and its good to have

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using PowerBI to provide insights into business performance metrics and trends.
2. Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources using Python, PySpark, and AWS services such as Glue, S3, and Redshift.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs, translating them into actionable insights and analytics solutions.
4. Perform data analysis and statistical modeling to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in large datasets.
5. Design and implement data pipelines for data integration and automation, ensuring data quality and consistency.
6. Conduct ad-hoc analysis and provide analytical support to support strategic decision-making and business initiatives.
7. Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in business intelligence, data analytics, and cloud computing, incorporating them into the organization's analytics strategy.
8. Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and compelling data visualizations, presentations, and reports.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Proven experience as a BI Analyst or similar role, with a strong background in data analysis, visualization, and programming.
3. Proficiency in PowerBI for dashboard development and data visualization.
4. Expertise in programming languages such as Python for data manipulation, analysis, and scripting.
5. Experience with PySpark for big data processing and distributed computing.
6. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, including services like Glue, S3, Redshift, and EC2.
7. Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.
8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
10. Attention to detail and a passion for continuous learning and self-improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certifications in PowerBI, AWS, or related technologies.
2. Experience with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
3. Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
4. Experience working in an Agile or iterative development environment.
