Credentialing Specialist


Full Time: 40 hours Hybrid- Must Reside in MN and be able to commute to the office

Locations Available: Bloomington, HybridWe offer full time hybrid working environment with a flexible schedule between 6am-6pm, half day Fridays!

Credentialing Specialist Key Result Areas:

  • Monitor provider credentials, licenses, certifications and memberships to ensure records are current and consistent with regulations and policies
  •  Maintains reports and database of credentialing activities such as accreditation, memberships, licensure, or facility privileges 
  • Participate in the development of internal credentialing processes and procedures
  • Process applications and reappointment paperwork, validating completeness and accuracy

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, is required 
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Must have previous payor enrollment experience
  • 5 years’ experience in credentialing and/or provider enrollment 
  • CMSC (Certified Medical Staff Coordinator) or CPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist) is a plus
  • Knowledge of medical terminology required
