Job Description:
  • Provide medical treatment, consultation and diagnosis to an ambulatory walk-in community.
  • Select, order, perform and interpret tests.
  • Analyze reports and findings of tests to diagnose patient.
  • Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination and other specialized medical care.
  • Perform procedures including laceration repair, management of orthopedic injuries, and provide referrals to medical specialists.
  • Explain procedures and discuss test results and prescribed treatments with patients.
  • Provide occupational health physical examinations and interpretation of OSHA based tests.
  • Attend to emergencies as needed.
  • Complete thorough documentation.
Requirements

  • New Graduates are welcome to apply, 1 year of full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience is a plus.
  • Nurse Practitioners: Master's degree from accredited institution and appropriate certification required (AANC or AANP). Licensed to practice medicine in the state of New York, ACLS certified.
  • Physician Assistants: Master's degree from accredited institution and NCCPA Certification. Licensed to practice in the State of New York, ACLS certified.
