Job Description
- Maintain and service all equipment to Federal DOT standards.
- Road test diesel vehicles to diagnose malfunctions.
- Changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment.
- Diagnose, adjust, and repair class A trucks and reefer trailers.
- Inspect and replace worn break components.
- Keep documentation on all repairs and communicate statuses of downed vehicles.
- Complete other projects/duties as assigned.
- 1 year of recent diesel repair/mechanic experience
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to provide own hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, etc.)
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record (ability to be insured by Company)
- Unrestricted ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, squat, lift up to 75 lbs, push, pull, climb and lie on back in horizontal position for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to pass background check, including DMV records
- Ability to pass pre-employment UA drug screen, includes THC
