Title: Technical Admin/Lab Color Technician
Position: Temporary
Location: Minneapolis, MN
First Shift: Mon - Fri, 7 am - 3:30 pm, including 30 minutes for lunch. No overtime.

We are currently seeking a talented Lab Technician to join a growing team!
As a Lab Technician , you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our products through laboratory testing and analysis.
You will support color match efforts by cutting, labeling, and preparing metal color samples for shipment; you will be responsible for daily filing of metal panels and color standards; you will also organize and perform other admin related duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
First Priority - Technical Admin
- Accountable for data entry into color management software system.
- Time spent approximately 50%.
- Support routine color matching requests, record results, and learn basic knowledge of color theory.
- Learn and use software systems for color predictions.
- Operate under direct supervision with all output reviewed.
- Demonstrate knowledge of basic computer skills.
- Demonstrate basic math skills.
- General color lab equipment operations (scale, stirrer, mixer, spray guns, fume hoods).
- Knowledge of mathematical methods to calculate / re-balance color formulas.
- Learn to manage time efficiently.
- Seek assistance on setting priorities for scheduling.
- Learn and applies processes selected by the supervisor to solve problems.
- Comply with all safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- High School diploma minimum.
- Two-year degree would be nice to have but not required.
