The Housekeeper is responsible for performing a routine cleaning of guest rooms and the interior of the hotel as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager. Duties include responding to guest inquiries and requests, cleaning hotel rooms, stocks, and inventories of supplies and cleaning solutions, collects garbage and recyclables, and linens from guest rooms. Advises housekeeping and hotel management when rooms are ready for occupancy, examines rooms, halls, and lobbies to determine if repairs are needed, and cleans guest exercise and pool area clean and tidy. Performs additional job duties as assigned by the department manager. The housekeeper starts at $18.21/hr and increases to the standard rate of $19.28/hr at the successful completion of 90 day orientation period.

• High School Diploma GED equivalent required

• One year of hotel guestroom cleaning experience is required
• Knowledge of using cleaning solutions and floor machines and commercial laundry equipment

• Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours
• The ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis
• Must be able to tolerate a smoke-filled environment

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment illegal drug screen
• Upon offer must obtain Class IIIB Gaming License ($155 - $200)
• Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays
