The project superintendent position is responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating the efforts of assigned jobs to efficiently complete the construction projects with high-quality and within budget and scope. You will be directed by and report to the VP of Operations. Your position represents a crucial element to the success of the Emerald organization.

Responsibilities:

• Willingness to work late and odd hours, if necessary, to complete work according to project deadlines.
• Work with all other employees in a cooperative manner.
• Manage job and sub performance according to scope, production rates, quality, and profitability.
• Manage and lead a diverse and profitable team toward the accomplishment of common goals.
• Develop work schedules and work assignments for tasks, and integrate these tasks into daily operations. Supervise the accomplishment of activities in accordance with plans, schedules, budgets, and company policies.
• Participate in long term planning and company growth.
• Maintain excellent customer relations by assuring that customer inquiries are answered in a courteous manner and that any concerns are responded to promptly and personally.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with all federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations and is performed within Emerald's Safety Program and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Previous Supervisory experience
• Bi-lingual Preferred (English and Spanish)
• Must possess a valid State driver’s license and have a clean driving record
• Strong Communication Skills
• Comfortable with electronic communication
• Ability to read and interpret site plans and blue prints
• Must have a thorough knowledge of construction
