Position: Food Stand Attendant/Runner

Location: Emerald Cocktail Kitchen

Hey there! We're seeking a detail-oriented and team-oriented Food Stand Attendant/ Runner to join our team at Emerald Cocktail Kitchen, the only rooftop bar in Syracuse located in the vibrant Tip Hill neighborhood! As our Food Stand Attendant/Runner, you'll be responsible for taking food item orders quickly and efficiently at our food stand on the roof. This includes cashing customers out through our Point of Sale system as well as distributing food orders through a pager system.

We will be holding OPEN INTERVIEWS for all positions for our summer team at ECK on the following dates: Wednesday May 15 4-8pm, Thursday May 16 12-4pm and Saturday May 18 from 2-5pm. Open interviews do not require a scheduled time, please just drop in during the listed times with your resume and availability. We will be hiring the following week of May 20th to start right after Memorial Day weekend.

Qualifications:

• A detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills
• A passion for providing outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to use cash register, Point of Sale & basic knowledge of technology
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of food items to guests.
• Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure that all orders are complete and accurate.
• Maintain a clean and organized service area, including food pickup stations.
• Stock & Clean the food pickup station
• Buss & Clean the roof if time allows.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

Pay Rate: starting at $10/hour plus tips
