Emerald City Pet Rescue is Hiring an Animal Caretaker Near Seattle, WA

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Animal Caretaker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and possess knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal care practices.

Duties:

- Provide daily care and feeding for animals
- Maintain cleanliness of animal living areas
- Monitor animal behavior and health
- Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
- Assist with grooming tasks
- Perform basic animal husbandry tasks

Requirements:

- Previous experience in kennels or animal rescue
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal handling techniques
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Certification as a veterinary assistant is desirable
