Job Title: Warehouse Driver / Warehouse Support
Job Summary: We are seeking a warehouse driver out of our Edison, NJ location to make deliveries to construction project sites within New Jersey.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performing safe, timely, & productive deliveries to and from jobsites.
- Loads delivery vehicles for the purpose of ensuring that all items and supplies are properly secured.
- Unloads items for the purpose of distributing shipment to assigned site locations and/or individuals.
- Load and unload materials and equipment using warehouse lift equipment, organize and store materials and equipment within the Warehouse, as well as keep all storage areas clean and tidy.
- Assist and support with various duties within the Warehouse area as assigned.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- CDL Class B will be required.
- Good driving record / history.
- Minimum 3 years driving experience with forklifts, single axle truck and small box trucks.
- Knowledge of the commercial construction industry or electrical supply house is preferred.
- Ability to complete required paperwork.
- Maintain vehicle(s) (e.g. checking fluid levels, fueling, cleaning, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring safe operation of vehicle(s).
- Basic computer skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Regular, predictable and reliable attendance is an essential function of the position.
