Our team has completed projects all across Texas, including Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and more.
Job Title: Superintendent
Responsibilities:
  • Work independently from drawings, schematics, diagrams and manuals
  • Become familiar with plans, specifications, site, local codes, local officials, and inspection procedures.
  • Monitor and address issues within weekly labor reports
  • Receive all pertinent project information from Project Manager.
  • Layout the work for the employees and be responsible for having the material, equipment, information, and manpower requirements on the jobsite in the proper place in a timely fashion.
  • Purchase supplies and equipment as needed for jobs.
  • Schedule all employees, subcontractors and deliveries as needed so as to not adversely impact the project schedule.
  • Manage quality control of self-perform and subcontractors' work.
  • Work with job site representative and/or the subcontractors to resolve any conflicts that may arise and communicate any such conflicts immediately to Project Manager.
  • Complete regular safety walk-through and weekly inspections
  • Coordinate with equipment facility and outside equipment providers for project equipment; i.e. cranes, trailers, trucks, Conexus, etc.
  • Attend job meetings and/or any other meetings as may be required for the successful and timely completion of current project.
  • Attend walk through at job completion.
  • Monitor the job progress, direct the crew and have the work scheduled according to the pace of the job and other trades
  • Knowledge of hazards and safe work procedures associated with working from elevated work areas and personnel lift equipment
  • Knowledge of hazards and safe work procedures associated with the assigned work including but not limited to, Confined Spaces, Emergency Action Plans, Safe Work Permits, Incident Reporting, and HAZCOM procedures
  • Review field staff labor sheets weekly.
  • Close out project as necessary
  • Completes other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence utilizing basic computer skills
  • Ability to communicate via email and internet use
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
  • Must have a valid Driver's license
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
  • Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision
  • Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
