Job Title: Electrician

Job Summary:

MOR PPM Inc. is seeking an electrician located in North Charleston, SC for a capital assignment. Electrician will perform as a skilled electrician trouble shooting, replacing MCC Buckets, racking 4160V Breakers, checking for I/O points. Regular schedule will be 5-10 hr. days. Monday through Friday with weekend work to last 6 weeks. Pay range: $27-29 with $100.00 per diem. Will have to be High Voltage electrical safety trained with first aid and CPR. Tappisafe Current Preferred.

Essential Duties:

Responsible for the continuous improvement, fabrication, installation, and repair of tire manufacturing equipment electrical systems, and components.

Qualifications:

Must have high school diploma or G.E.D.

Possess the ability to use the English language to communicate (both verbally and in writing) accurately and concisely on technical matters to external and internal customers

Read and interpret electrical system schematics/drawings

Have a valid Driver's License.

Experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work.

Proficient in layout, bending, running, and installation of electrical conduit

Ability to work independently

Basic computer skills

Have a complete set of electrical, and basic hand tools appropriate for electrical maintenance and repair (company will provide specialized tools)

Ability to demonstrate proficiency in all of the above areas

Ability to stoop, bend, and manipulate tools in small spaces

Ability to perform work at heights

Ability to frequently lift and/or move varied objects up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Preferred Experience

4-5 years of industrial electrical experience, at least 2 at JM level
