District Manager

Ardent Services seeks District Manager within the Gulf Coast Region. Company headquarters located in Covington, LA, but this position is for the Gulf Coast area.

Reports to: Vice President

Location: Gulf Coast Region

Regular, Full-Time Position. This position is exempt.

General Job Description:

Direct and oversee all operational aspects including, but not limited to, operations, sales, safety, administration, scheduling and coordination of business needs. This position does require 24/7 availability.

Essential Duties and Skills:

  • Responsible for the profits and losses of the district operations.
  • Knowledge of current market conditions and industry patterns to develop an accurate revenue and profit forecast.
  • Responsible for quality, productivity, and performance all work performed by the district.
  • Liaise and interact with company representatives, customers, and subordinates.
  • Direct Project Managers and Superintendents in the execution of job requirements.
  • Ensure purchasing, subcontracting and administration activities are carried out.
  • Interact with Company and Contractor, as well as Health and Safety representatives to ensure a safe work site.
  • Monitor activities to ensure proper compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • And other assigned duties

Qualifications

  • Quantitative aptitude and experience managing budgets.
  • Leadership and decision-making ability.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision
  • Must possess the ability to speak with customers and various divisions on an as needed basis
  • Must have intermediate knowledge of with Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements, in a given day include, but are not limited to:

  • ability to sit (50%), stand (80%) and walk (80%) for prolonged periods of time
  • ability to climb ladders (up to 50%) and work from elevated work surfaces
  • ability to walk up and down stairs (possibly several flights)
  • ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • when required, wear all necessary PPE and clothing
  • ability to work in all elements (hot, cold, rain, snow, etc.) for prolonged periods of time
  • ability to work around loud noises (ear plugs are provided) up to 75% of the time while working
