Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced ASP.Net programmer to develop and support our internal web applications. The developer will work collaboratively with stake holders in our organization to solve business problems using technology. The candidate should have the ability to design and develop new web-based applications as well as rewriting legacy apps. The candidate should have a good understanding of database structure and be able to create, manage and modify SQL Server databases, including writing reports in SSRS or Crystal. The candidate will also help support and administer our Sharepoint instances.
Develop, test, document and implement internal web applications in ASP.NET framework
Rewrite classic ASP applications as VB.NET apps
Support and maintain existing applications
Create, manage and modify SQL Server databases
Create database reports in Crystal or SSRS
Write technical and user documentation
Train users on new and existing applications
Develop forms and work flows in Power Automate and PowerApps
Manage application and user security
Qualifications/Requirements
Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, and VBSCRIPT
Experience with ASP.NET, VB.NET
An understanding of database architecture and SQL
Experience with SQL Server, SSMS and T-SQL
Report writing experience with either Crystal or SSRS
Sharepoint administration experience
Experience with PowerApps and Power Automate development
Experience with JSON and Rest API is a plus
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
Self-motivated with a strong customer focus
Experience & Education Requirements
Minimum 4 year of experience in web development with ASP.NET and VB.NET.
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, CIS or related field of study.
